Electrolysis for White and Unwanted Hair

Precision treatment for unwanted white, gray, and blonde hair

White and gray hair can be difficult to treat with laser because they lack the pigment that laser hair removal targets. At Dr. Anood Al-Issa Clinic in Amman, we offer electrolysis to treat individual hair follicles, including light-colored hair that typically does not respond well to laser.

How Does Electrolysis Work?

A very fine probe is inserted into the natural opening of the hair follicle. Electrical energy is then delivered to destroy the follicle’s ability to produce hair. Because electrolysis does not rely on hair pigment, it can treat unwanted hair regardless of its color.

Who Is It Suitable For?

Electrolysis can be suitable for women and men with unwanted white, gray, or blonde hair, as well as individual hairs remaining after laser treatment. It is particularly useful for small areas requiring precision, such as the chin, upper lip, and selected facial areas, following an assessment.
